By taking over the Meraki company in 2012, Cisco has included on-line networked cloud-managed devices. Cisco Meraki devices help solve common problems in managing and monitoring network devices in remote locations, such as two or more locations of some companies located in different parts of the city, different cities, countries, or even on different continents. The necessary and sufficient prerequisite is the internet access at each location.

Satisfying customers with growing demands for more cloud applications, mobile devices and the latest types of connectivity are the main goals of the new Cisco Meraki’s MX and Z branch-office security devices.

Cisco Meraki’s MX family supports everything from SD-WAN and Wi-Fi features to the next-generation firewall and intrusion prevention in a single package.

According to the Cisco Mereki Blog he announce brand new additions to their MX and Z products. The MX family adds six new models to the highly successful MX64 and MX65 small branch security & SD-WAN appliances. According to the Cisco Meraki Blog products have upgraded and improved hardware, have higher throughputs, faster Wi-Fi, and integrated LTE modems.
